Dear Qwist customer,
We would like to inform you that we have implemented a new PayPal API connector with a more user-friendly flow. From now on, users don't need to register an API key to use the PayPal API, they will be able to use the same credentials as their online PayPal login.
IMPORTANT: Ongoing access for all existing users will continue temporarily until 29/02/2024, after which time ongoing synchronisation with the old connector will cease. Users will need to remove their current PayPal connection and re-register to access the PayPal API through the new connector. New users registered after 12/01/2024 are already using the new API.
The old connector will be renamed to "PayPal decommissioned" after its retirement on 29.02.2024 and won't be visible for new registrations. The new connector called "PayPal" has been available for selection by new registrants. To facilitate a seamless transition, kindly inform your end users about these changes and the updated registration process (refer to the screenshots below).
