As a general rule, Qwist does not filter out individual transactions during account synchronization. Typically, we either receive all transactions from the bank – or none at all.
If some transactions are missing, the cause usually lies with the bank not transmitting the data. Common reasons include:
- Technical issues on the bank's end
- The transaction hasn't yet been finalized and posted to the account
- The transaction may appear during the next sync attempt
In rare cases, an issue might occur on our side. To investigate this, we require detailed information. Please contact support through your provider.
🚨 When should you contact us?
Only reach out to support if one of the following applies:
- The same transactions from a specific payee are missing repeatedly
- Transactions are missing over a long time period
- A large number of transactions are missing on a recurring basis
We do not process single missing transactions that have not recurred. Even if it’s our fault, we cannot retrieve or replay past transactions.
Any fix we apply is to prevent the issue from happening again, not to restore missing data.
🛠️ Self-test: Check for temporary issues
You can test the connection yourself:
- Delete your existing bank connection
- Reconnect the bank account
Important:
This can result in further data loss, so we strongly recommend creating a backup before attempting this step.
