Dear customer,
Commerzbank is introducing a technical update to its PSD2 API interface that affects (only for ongoing accesses) how third-party applications, such as ours, connect to payment accounts.
As a result of this bank-mandated change, previously granted access consents cannot be transferred to the new interface. Users with currently connected Commerzbank accounts will need to renew their consent manually by simply, through a Manual Synchronization, reconnecting the account in your application once the change takes effect.
This only takes a few moments and ensures we can securely access account information under the new technical setup.
This change will take effect on 12th March 2026.
Please note:
- Only existing connections are affected.
- Any new connection attempts made after the change will work as usual and will not require additional steps.
