We're excited to announce that a new version of the API will be available on July 25th, 2024. The 2.10 update brings significant enhancements designed to improve your experiences with the finX API.
What's New?
- We’ve added new fields to the payment partner object in the API Response to fetch transactions! Now, you can access more detailed information about payment partners, including their website and logo URL. Additionally, you can see the geo-location of the partner with latitude and longitude data. This feature is currently available only for payment partners in Spain, Germany is coming soon so stay tuned!
Note:
- The release will not require any downtime. Nevertheless, the update will involve a data migration, which we will perform in an automated batch run as a background service after the deployment. We are going to start to migrate the users first that have been active within the last 90 days. In case a user tries to access their data who is not yet migrated, the finX API will respond with a HTTP status-code 423 (Locked) and finX error code 1008 (resource busy) until the background-migration of the data has finished, which usually only takes a couple of seconds. Rollout Schedule:
July 25th, 2024: Official release of the new API version. The new version does not require you to make any changes to your current integration.
