BW-Bank PSD2 API Upgrade

Dear Qwist customer,

We are pleased to inform you that we will be upgrading the BW Bank connector to use the PSD2 API on 6th of August 2024. This upgrade will enhance security and provide a more streamlined experience for our customers.
 

Action Required:

Every existing current account connection to BW Bank must be manually renewed by the end-user. Please follow the steps below to complete the upgrade:

1. Initiate Manual Sync: The user starts a manual sync.
    
2. Migration Process: The user runs through the migration process within your UI and will be redirected to the BW-Bank website to authorise access by entering credentials and completing the 2nd factor.
    
3. Return to Application: The user will be redirected back to your application and the accounts will be regularly synchronised again.
    
4. Sync Period: Once this is done, accounts can be synchronised for a period of 180 days by default, including our AutoSync (please note that this period may also depend on your configuration), without the need for a 2nd factor authentication.
